The Date

It's Eight Two Eight, we chose a date that would be unforgettable (you should probably still write it down, sometimes people forget and we understand). The wedding will take place at The Madeline Island Inn on Madeline Island, one of the Apostle Islands. We realize that this is a bit of a journey, but we fell in love with this place and thought it would be ideal for our wedding. It's in Wisconsin! We know everyone loves Wisconsin, so join us there for our wedding celebration.

The Location

Madeline Island is located 5 hours North of the Twin Cities. You drive North on 35W until you hit Duluth. In Duluth, take exit 253A and merge onto US-2 E. Take US-2 for 60 miles and turn left on Wisconsin 13. When you reach Bayfield, hop on the ferry and twenty minutes later you will be on Madeline Island ready to party.

If you can't make the journey, don't fret, because there will be a huge blow-out blast of a party in the Twin Cities shortly after the honey moon.

The Lodging

There are plenty of places to stay on Madeline Island. The island has many beautiful hotels, two great camp grounds, and even opportunities to rent entire houses. Lodging on the island can be a bit pricey, but we are committed to making this event affordable for everyone. If you have trouble finding lodging, or if you find it just too expensive, please let us know. We are happy to help coordinate affordable alternatives.
